15 Seattle Condos Within Blocks of Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market is a Seattle icon. Over 15 million visitors walk through the public farmers market every year. It is the heart of the city, and for condo buyers, living within walking distance of the Market means living in the center of everything: restaurants, fresh food, waterfront access, and a neighborhood that never gets old.

I wanted to make it easy for anyone thinking about investing near the Market. Here are 15 condo buildings that are within blocks of Pike Place, organized by neighborhood.

Belltown (North of the Market)

The condo towers flanking Pike Place: some of the most walkable addresses in the city.

First Light - 3rd and Virginia A newer addition to the Belltown skyline. First Light offers modern finishes and strong walkability to both Pike Place and the waterfront.

Cristalla - 2nd and Lenora One of Belltown’s standout glass towers with clean lines, open floor plans, and excellent proximity to the Market. A strong pick for buyers who want the energy of Belltown with Pike Place steps away.

West Edge (The Market’s Backyard)

The West Edge is the neighborhood that wraps directly around Pike Place Market. If proximity is your priority, these buildings put you closer than anywhere else in the city.

One Pacific Tower - 2000 1st Ave Neighborhood: West Edge. Directly on 1st Avenue with easy access to the Market’s north entrance.

Market Place Tower - 2033 1st Ave Neighborhood: West Edge. Steps from the Market and a short walk to the waterfront.

Market Place North - 2021 1st Ave Neighborhood: West Edge. Sister building to Market Place Tower, same proximity, slightly different layout options.

Market Court - 2030 Western Ave Neighborhood: West Edge. Located on Western Avenue, which runs along the Market’s western edge and connects to the waterfront stairs.

The Emerald - 121 Stewart St Neighborhood: West Edge. A boutique building on Stewart with strong walkability in every direction.

1521 Second - 1521 2nd Ave Neighborhood: West Edge. A premium full-service tower with unobstructed water and mountain views. One of the strongest buildings in the submarket.

98 Union - 98 Union St Neighborhood: West Edge. A boutique condo with a prime address at the southern end of the Market district.

Four Seasons Residences - 99 Union St Neighborhood: West Edge. The luxury benchmark for the Market area. Full-service living with Four Seasons amenities and staff. If you want the best of both worlds, luxury and location, this is where you look.

South of the Market

Why Pike Place Proximity Matters

Living near Pike Place is not just about convenience. It is about being at the center of Seattle’s identity. The Market anchors one of the most walkable corridors in the Pacific Northwest: fresh seafood and produce steps from your door, the revitalized waterfront below, and the retail core above.

For investors, buildings in this submarket have historically held their value well because demand for this location is structural, not cyclical. People want to live here. That does not change with market cycles.

If you are evaluating any of these buildings, the key factors are the same ones I always recommend: HOA reserve health, pending litigation, rental restriction rules, and the building’s competitive position within the submarket.
